Kalispéra everyone!

Today we had to get up at 7 AM as we had tickets to the Akropolis & Parthenon at 9AM.

Of we took the elevator to go all the way to the top so we were driven in a golf cart to the elevator which was on top of a hill and there the elevator went way up high right to the front of the Akropolis!

All we can say is: WAUW! How impressive are these buildings!!!

Unfortunately they are both in restoration so we couldn't see them without all the scaffolds all around it.

But it was still amazing to stand in front of it and admire all the amazing beauty of both buildings!

Then we went to have some breakfast before going to the Temple of Zeus!

It's unbelievable how all these buildings and parts are still mostly intact from when they were build!

Lastly we went to the museum of the Akropolis as it's right next to our metro stop so we decided to that last and then go back to our hotel.

You could walk around there for hours, seeing all those artifacts and statues and everything from back in those days! Hundreds of year BC mind you!

After the museum we went back to our hotel to rest a bit before having a drink and some yummy appetizers at the Bronze Rooftop Bar and Restaurant where we had a great panoramic view over Athens so we took another picture of the Akropolis for a final time 😉

That's it for today!

Tomorrow we're gonna sleep in and the rest you'll find out in my next blog 😉

YASSAS!!!

xoxo
