Today we went to the Australia Zoo where I unexpectedly had a MAJOR dream come true!!!

I had booked a cuddly koala session even though I wasn’t supposed to be holding the koala as you have to be 1m40 and I’m only 1m30.

Unfortunately mom wasn’t allowed to come along as she didn’t have a ticket, she didn’t wanna hold the koala herself, so she went along in the zoo catching some animals while I was having my encounter.

When the photographer (forgot her name) brought us to the backstage area we saw Holly the caretaker waiting for us with Henry the koala on her arm 🐨

First a woman, who celebrated her 80th birthday yesterday, took her pictures alone before taking some with her son who also got his solo pictures after.

Then it was time for a young lady taking her pictures with Henry before it was my time!

Holly handed Henry to me and I picked him up in my arms while taking some pictures alone.

Then Holly took Henry back on her arm and I was able to really cuddle him while she was holding him so I could take some more pictures with that cutie😍😍😍

Then it was time to put him back on the tree where each one of us could really pet him and take more pictures with Henry.

He mostly kept his eyes closed though so we were lucky if we got some pictures with his eyes open😜

After the session we were brought back to continue our day at the zoo!

Mom and I started in Africa part where we saw giraffes, zebra and rhinos and the meerkats of course

We also saw some cheetahs too before we went to the red kangaroos who were laying in the grass and you could just go up to them and pet them!!!

THEY ARE SOOOOO SOFT!!!

And they are so customed to people so they just keep in the grass while you approach and pet them.

Then we went to see some other animals before it was time for the wildlife warrior show at 1.15 PM.

There they showed us many birds flying really close over us but we also saw dingo’s before the final act came on: a crocodile .

His caretakers told us a lot about them while also feeding him which was cool to see him jump!

After the show I picked up my pictures and bought some souvenirs before getting back to the bus to get back to the hotel.

Really wanna thank everyone at the koala section for making this a very special day and a dream come true
