Byron Bay lighthouse

Today we were stuck inside our cabin till 2PM as it was pouring rain till then.

Finally it stopped raining and the sun came out so by the time it was 3PM we were able to leave the cabin to do the activity we had planned for today: drive up to the lighthouse of Byron Bay which is situated at the most Eastern side of Australia.

We got beautiful views and we even saw a lot of people who were surfing at the beach.

We also talked to a woman who did the parking there and she told us a lot of about the lighthouse and then we told her where we're still going next on the rest of our vacation.

After the lighthouse we drove back to the city to go to a souvenir shop to buy our traditional item: a magnet.

Then we went to a rooftop restaurant to have a cocktail: watermelon martini for me and a virgin mojito for mom as she still had to drive us back to our cabin.

This is already our last night here as we're driving to our next destination tomorrow!
